Corner the Market and Use the Barter System

The barter system has reached all corners of the market. A new one is coins. Coins that are officially recognized as bullion are pure gold or pure silver. There are many other coins on the market that are valuable due to their silver content however, are considered “junk coins”. These are the pre-1965 era coins that were minted in the United States.

All quarters, half dollars and dimes produced until that year are classified in that category. The content of silver for these coins is approximately 90% and the rest is copper. Copper is added to strengthen the coins so they can last for many more years.

We are all aware that bullion has much, much more monetary value than the junk coins due to the fact they were produced after 1965 and are still in production. This increases the market for these coins, however the minting of the junk silver coins ceased in 1965 and it is unreasonable for anyone to buy any of the coins for a large sum. There are a few advantages which are attached to the old silver. This has to do with the bartering system. The coins can play a huge role, we are not sure just how large, but it definitely holds a key.

If for whatever reason, the dollar collapsed, this is the only alternative to currency we would have. It is a fantastic investment and the possibilities are endless. Make the barter system work for you!
